It sounds like a Swiss music box!I would have to say this musical movement is by far the best of all the 72-note movements Sankyo has produced to date. “The Trout” is a theme with variations, in 3 parts. The musical arrangement just plain sparkles. In part one, the general theme is heard, without much decoration. The second part is a variation on the theme heard in part one, however the music becomes more decorated. Part three is very decorated indeed. The music sounds like a waterfall, a spring shower or a fountain. The music is overflowing with life. I can’t say enough about how great this movement really is. Believe me, it is a masterpiece. 72 Note MovementThis kind of Sankyo movement plays two or three tunes (or parts) and is made in Japan. There are 72 notes (or "teeth") on the comb. There is a lot of bass sound in the comb, and the arrangements are usually very spectacular in nature. It is one of the nicer movements made today, and we optimize it so it will play even better. |

2. If you buy just the movement, it ships complete with winding key, mounting screws, operating lever, an attractive tune label, and an accurate drilling template.
